Shipping Policy
1. Shipping Days: We ship exclusively on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This ensures the safest and most reliable transit for our reptiles. We utilize Reptile Express or Delta for all shipments. We will not ship if the receiving location temperatures are, or are forecasted to, exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit or fall below 38 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Temperature Considerations: For the well-being of our reptiles, hub holds are mandatory if temperatures at the receiving location fall to 40 degrees Fahrenheit or below. This precautionary measure guarantees the animals' safety during transportation.
3. Buyer Vetting: To maintain responsible ownership and ensure the welfare of our reptiles, we thoroughly vet all buyers, especially for certain species such as venomous snakes. Buyers are required to possess all necessary permits and licenses as mandated by local and federal regulations.
4. Shipping Costs: The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with their purchase. These costs are calculated based on factors such as destination, package weight, and shipping method chosen.
5. Refund Policy: Due to the nature of our business and the live animals involved, we do not offer refunds on purchases. However, we stand behind the quality of our reptiles and provide a live arrival guarantee on all shipments.
6. Live Arrival Guarantee: We are committed to the health and well-being of our reptiles. Therefore, we provide a live arrival guarantee on all shipments. In the unlikely event that an animal arrives deceased, we require immediate notification along with clear photographic evidence within two hours of delivery to qualify for a replacement or credit towards a future purchase. Additional Terms
1. Ownership: All products remain the property of our Slither & Scale Breeding Co. until full payment is received. Abandoned payments plans will not be refunded.
2. Age Restriction: By making a purchase, you confirm that you are of legal age to own the reptiles as per local regulations. All buyers must be 18+.
3. Health and Care: While we take utmost care in breeding and shipping our reptiles, we cannot guarantee their health after they leave our care. Proper care and husbandry practices are the responsibility of the buyer upon receipt of the animal.
4. Legal Compliance: It is the buyer's responsibility to comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding the ownership and transportation of reptiles.
5. Indemnification: By purchasing from us, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless our breeding company from any liability arising from the ownership, care, or handling of the reptiles purchased.
